I love this story. At the other place I lived my then boyfriend came home to 3 rooms filled with blood and feather. He called and left me a voice mail on my cell telling me he had only one thing to say. Ick, ick, ick. I was so glad I wasn’t home to have to clean it up. I’d say with that big of a bird you have a real hunter there and he truly loved you to catch something so big!

I bet he was so proud of himself. I once found a crow skeleton and feathers under my bed when I moved it. Apparently Beemer brought it in while I was away having brain surgery or I’m sure I’d have smelled it!

What a truly meaningful experience. I think it must be one of the most painful and most rewarding things anyone can do in life…to help someone die. One of my aunts lived with my oldest aunt for several months while she was dying of colon cancer. I always admired her courage and self sacrifice.

Have you listened to Damien Rice yet? I will post a link to his work sometime this morning.
